Partition Horror Remembrance Day
The Ambassador of India, Mr. P.K. Ashokbabu, met on July 8, 2024, with the Vice Minister for New Sources and Rational Use of Energy, Ms. Tania Masea, and the Vice Minister for Asia, Middle East and Oceania, Ms. Tatiana Pugh. They discussed bilateral cooperation in the renewable energy sector.
Amb. P.K. Ashok Babu and a team of Embassy officials met with Mr. Gustavo Adolfo Vizcaino Gil, Director General of the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Foreigners (SAIME) VenezuelaSaime and Major General Luis Rodriguez, Director of the Migration Police and Director of the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Foreigners (SAIME) and other officials on Thursday, 4th July, to discuss various consular matters and to strengthen cooperation between stakeholders.

Ambassador met with Mr. Orlando Camacho, National President, Ms. Marie Jane Costa, Second Vice President, Mr Rafael Sarcina, VP Finance and Executive Directors, Mr Mikel Chivite, Mr Alcides Cayama, Ms Xiomara Hoyos, Mr Ruben Diaz and Ms Erizays Brito from FedeIndustria Chamber and discussed various avenues of cooperation between the two countries in trade and commerce.

The event, held on Saturday 21st June 2025, brought together more than 250 yoga enthusiasts for a morning dedicated to harmony, well-being, and mindfulness. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Ministry of People's Power for Sports for its invaluable support in making this gathering a remarkable success. Yoga lovers, Government officials, diplomats, and friends of India joined hands to celebrate the unifying spirit of yoga and its timeless benefits. Special thanks goes to Mr. Ilan Chester, who graciously joined us and shared his heartfelt words of respect for India and for yoga, further enriching the event with his presence and insights.
