Ambassador Shrivastava visited a Fe y Alegria Primary School in Caracas. Fe y Alegria is a non-profit organisation, which provides education to children in poor neighbourhoods. Founded in 1955 in Venezuela, the organisation runs schools in 19 countries. The School which Ambassador visited was the first one to be set up by Fe y Alegria. The children prepared a week for the visit, learning about India. They put up a cultural performance to celebrate Diwali.
