Ambassador Abhishek Singh held a meeting with Governor of Portuguesa State H.E. Rafael Calles and discussed areas of bilateral cooperation. Ambassador Singh also made a presentation on India's achievements since Independence as part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'.

The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P. K. Ashokbabu, met with the Mayor of the Municipality of Chacao, Mr. Gustavo Duque and his wife, Mrs. Vanessa Bachrich. They discussed the possibilities of cultural exchange between the Embassy and the Municipality of Chacao.

The Ambassador had the opportunity to discuss opportunities for cultural and academic links with the university.
