Ambassador Rahul Shrivastava visits the State of Barinas

Ambassador Rahul Shrivastava visited the State of Barinas in Venezuela. He called on the Governor of Barinas, Mr. Adan Chavez, who is the elder brother of late President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez. The discussed enhancement of cooperation between India and State of Barinas. Governor Chavez requested Indian companies to participate in the machinery and technology sectors of Barinas. Both sides agreed to send government officials from Barinas for training to India under ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) programme and students under ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) scholarships.
