Venezuelan government tenders
The Government of Venezuela invites global tenders for goods, services and works from time to time, and Indian companies can take part. Tenders are published, in Spanish only, on the website of the National Contractors Service (Servicio Nacional de Contrataciones, SNC): snc.gob.ve — public calls.
Finding a tender on the SNC website
- Open the SNC public calls page.
- Under “TODOS LOS ENTES U ORGANISMOS”, view all government bodies or choose one from the list.
- Under “TODOS LOS CONCURSOS”, choose “CONCURSO ABIERTO ANUNCIADO INTERNACIONALMENTE” (open international tender) and click “CONSULTAR”.
- Narrow the results by activity (goods, services or works), state and starting month.
- The results show the activity, process number, start date, tender title and contracting body. The green arrow in the last column opens the tender notice (PDF).
Companies without an office or registration in Venezuela can take part in international tenders. A company that wins a tender must then register with the Venezuelan authorities.
