Ambassador Abhishek Singh delivered the key note address at the inauguration of ‘Yoga de la India’, an initiative of Embassy of India, Caracas, to promote Yoga in Venezuela. He also spoke about the various other initiatives undertaken by the Embassy in context of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P. K. Ashokbabu, met with the Mayor of the Municipality of Chacao, Mr. Gustavo Duque and his wife, Mrs. Vanessa Bachrich. They discussed the possibilities of cultural exchange between the Embassy and the Municipality of Chacao.
The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.K. Ashokbabu met with the authorities of the prestigious Central University of Venezuela, the Rector Dr. Victor Rago the Academic Vice Rector, Dr. Maria Fatima Garces the Administrative Vice Rector, Dr. Jose Balbino Leon the Secretary General of the University, Dr. Corina Aristimuno and the Head of Public Relations, Prof. Sol del Valle. The Ambassador had the opportunity to discuss opportunities for cultural and academic links with the university.
