Shri Abhishek Singh has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

Shri Abhishek Singh (IFS: 2003), presently Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Kabul, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.

The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P. K. Ashokbabu, met with the Mayor of the Municipality of Chacao, Mr. Gustavo Duque and his wife, Mrs. Vanessa Bachrich. They discussed the possibilities of cultural exchange between the Embassy and the Municipality of Chacao.
The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.K. Ashokbabu met with the authorities of the prestigious Central University of Venezuela, the Rector Dr. Victor Rago the Academic Vice Rector, Dr. Maria Fatima Garces the Administrative Vice Rector, Dr. Jose Balbino Leon the Secretary General of the University, Dr. Corina Aristimuno and the Head of Public Relations, Prof. Sol del Valle. The Ambassador had the opportunity to discuss opportunities for cultural and academic links with the university.
The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.K. Ashokbabu had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Jagnesh Adlakha, Divisional Manager (IB LATAM), Bajaj Auto Limited, to discuss issues related to the promotion of the brand in the country.
The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.K. Ashokbabu had visited the ENCAVA plant in the city of Valencia with businessmen Mr. Carlos Mejias, President of ENCAVA Group Mr. Francisco Conejero, Vice President of Plant, Mr. Miguel Canchica, Vice President of Marketing and Sales and Mr. Felix Gutierrez, Vice President of International Purchasing.
The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.K. Ashokbabu had the opportunity to meet in the city of Valencia with Venezuelan businessmen Mr. Stefano Fugazza, President of the Temi Group Mr. Juan Miguel Leon, Director of Quimainca (Quimainca - Quimicos de Mantenimiento Industrial C.A) and Mr. Giuseppe Latartera, Director of Costel Group.
