CELEBRATION OF MAHATMA GANDHI BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

1. A flower offering ceremony on occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary will be held on Octoberr 02, 2018 at 1000 hours at Plaza Gandhi, UD2, Parroquia de Caricuao, Municipio Libertador, Caracas, Venezuela.

2. All Indian nationals, persons of Indian origin and friends of India are cordially invited to attend.

The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P. K. Ashokbabu, met with the Mayor of the Municipality of Chacao, Mr. Gustavo Duque and his wife, Mrs. Vanessa Bachrich. They discussed the possibilities of cultural exchange between the Embassy and the Municipality of Chacao.
The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.K. Ashokbabu met with the authorities of the prestigious Central University of Venezuela, the Rector Dr. Victor Rago the Academic Vice Rector, Dr. Maria Fatima Garces the Administrative Vice Rector, Dr. Jose Balbino Leon the Secretary General of the University, Dr. Corina Aristimuno and the Head of Public Relations, Prof. Sol del Valle. The Ambassador had the opportunity to discuss opportunities for cultural and academic links with the university.
The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.K. Ashokbabu had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Jagnesh Adlakha, Divisional Manager (IB LATAM), Bajaj Auto Limited, to discuss issues related to the promotion of the brand in the country.

Ashokbabu had visited the ENCAVA plant in the city of Valencia with businessmen Mr. Carlos Mejias, President of ENCAVA Group Mr. Francisco Conejero, Vice President of Plant, Mr. Miguel Canchica, Vice President of Marketing and Sales and Mr. Felix Gutierrez, Vice President of International Purchasing.
