A reception was hosted at the Embassy residence for the students of Hindi language at the B.R. Ambedkar India Study Centre in Caracas. Other guests included teachers and students of Indian dance, music and art in Venezuela.

The Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P. K. Ashokbabu, met with the Mayor of the Municipality of Chacao, Mr. Gustavo Duque and his wife, Mrs. Vanessa Bachrich. They discussed the possibilities of cultural exchange between the Embassy and the Municipality of Chacao.
