Indian Music and Dance Festival 2016 at Teresa Carreño Theater

The Embassy of India, Caracas, in collaboration with the Venezuelan Ministry of Culture, organized the "Indian Music and Dance Festival." An 11-member Bhangra Group sponsored by Indian Council for Cultural Relations did a workshop on December 5 and gave the main performance on December 6 at Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas before a packed house consisting of about 1000 audience. Several Venezuelan artists also participated at the event. The group also participated in a cultural exchange meeting with the Compañía Nacional de Danza, on December 7.
