Celebration of Pravasi Bhartiya Divas-2020 and Vishwa Hindi Divas -2020 in Aruba

The celebration of Pravasi Bhartiya Divas-2020 and Vishwa Hindi Divas-2020 was held by Indian Association of Aruba on Friday, 10th January 2020. 02 Arubian Ministers - Justice Minister H. E. Mr. Andin Bikker & Education Minister H.E. Mr. Armando Lampe, Director of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador of India to Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Venu Rajamony graced the event.

2. During the programme, Ambassador informed that PBD is the day when Mahatama Gandhi returned to India after the Satyagraha struggle in South Africa. He also mentioned that the use of Hindi is being encouraged by the Government of India. Education Minister H.E. Mr. Lampe thanked the organizers for the invitation and stated that the Indian community is doing a great job in Aruba.

3. Around 40 persons joined the celebration.
