The 100th Birth Anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya was celebrated in Caracas on 25 September 2017. An event to commemorate the occasion was held at the Jesus Obrero Institute. Ambassador Shrivastava spoke about the principles of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and programmes in India for economic empowerment of the underprivileged. Ambassador Shrivastava and the Director of the Institute, Ms. Belkis Sosa released a booklet 'Integral Humanism' on Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.
